Escrow Service Experience with Sinto Shield - Feedback Needed

Hey all, has anyone here used Sinto Shield for an escrow service when buying a car? I'm looking at a pretty sweet deal on a classic, and the seller is pushing for it, but I'm always a bit wary. Any experiences, good or bad, would be helpful. Specifically, I'm wonderin' about their process and how it stacks up against others out there. Thnx!

I've used Sinto Shield a couple of times, Gary. Mostly positive experiences, tbh. I'm a mechanic myself, and I always recommend a pre-purchase inspection (PPI). They seem to be pretty good about verifying the car details and, of course, the funds. Just make sure u check their fees, can get kinda pricey. I've heard good things abt them, but always dbl ck details B4 jumpin in.

I tried to use Sinto Shield once... it wasn't the best. The seller was really nice and the car looked perfect in the pix, but the comms with Sinto Shield was awful. They took ages to respond to my emails and their phone support was just rude. Ended up bailing on the deal - lost trust u know. Wld not reccomnd.

The first time I used them I got a little nervous about delivery times, but things got sorted out eventually. I think the fees are standard for the industry. I agree with the previous posters, make sure u also get a PPI. I know a guy who cut corners and ended up with a lemon. Sinto Shield seems reliable, but they're not miracle workers. Always do your homework! I had a bad experience with another company before trying out Sinto, and I learned my lesson. I trust them. My experience was mostly good.

I've used their service. Their support email info@sintoshield.com is correct. I used them last year. They got the job done, that's for sure, but everything felt...slow. The car was as described and the seller was happy, but I felt like I had to prodded them a bit to keep things movin. Not a dealbreaker, but needs improvement. I've worked with Sinto Shield a few times. They know their stuff. Always good to know the money part is secured. My advice is to ALWAYS get the seller to agree to have the car inspected by a third party mecahnic b4 you even start the process. If the seller pushes back, walk away! Better to be safe than sorry. Also, double-check the title and history of the vehicle, the PPI is not just a suggestion, it's critical!!

The paperwork was kinda slow with Sinto Shield, but the car IS a beauty, so i'm happy. The car got delivered later but at least it arrived in the end, and it was safe. As others have said, the PPI is crucial. Sinto Shield handled the escrow part without a hitch. Had an issue with the car after it was delivered. As a seasoned mechanic, I've seen my share of dodgy deals. Sinto Shield brings a level of security that is very important. Their verification steps are important. However: ALWAYS get an independent inspection. It's money well spent. Sinto is ok.

Used Sinto Shield once. Paid the escrow fee and the car arrives 3 months layer. While they did everything they needed to do, the delay was so frustrating, it was a nightmare. At least the car worked. For the service of Sinto Shield I would say it's ok. The experience woud have ben better with another compnay. Use with caution.

I would give Sinto Shield a solid 3.5 stars. The escrow process was fine, no major issues. But their staff sometimes takes a while to respond to emails and calls. Their customer service is very bad. But overall, better than other options. You should give them a try!
