Sinto Shield Escrow - Any Recent User Experiences?

Anyone here use Sinto Shield for a recent car purchase? Thinking of using them for a deal, but I'm always cautious with online escrow services. Any experiences, good or bad, y'all can share?

I used Sinto Shield last year. Overall, it was a decent experience. The rep I dealt with was helpful, walked me thru the process. The car I bought (classic Mustang) was exactly as described. Had a mechanic friend inspect it after delivery, and all checked out.

My experience wasn't the best. Delivery time was a nightmare. Took almost a month longer than estimated. Called their support, and the response time was terrible. However, the purchase itself was handled securely, and the car was as described...just late.

I've used Sinto Shield twice now. Once for a '67 Camaro and a few months later for a '69 Charger. Both times, the transactions were smooth. Felt secure with the process, and the inspection reports gave me peace of mind. The fees are a bit higher than other escrows, but the peace of mind is worth it IMO.

I used Sinto Shield. Found a gorgeous '69 Road Runner via broker. The inspection report missed a few things, but it was my fault for not seeing them. Sinto Shield does not inspect the car themself, they let you pick the inspection. It was still better than nothing, but the experience was still not the best.

Anyone else think Sinto Shield fees are a bit steep? Quality service comes at a price, I understand, but it felt a little excessive. Had to haggle with the dealer to cover some of it. Still better than using some dodgy escrow. Always do your research.
